We welcome Derek to the Flatirons Habitat staff. He is an Americorps *VISTA volunteer serving a one-two year service period with our affiliate. He is a doctoral candidate in religion at Baylor University, and his research focuses on the theme of poverty in the Psalms. Derek is excited to be joining our Habitat team and looks forward to building relationships with members of the clergy and laity who are interested in addressing issues surrounding poverty housing in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
