Congregational support of Habitat events is often crucial to their success. Sometimes a pastor or church members can participate in or contribute to an event. At other times, they can make up a significant part of the audience.
Upcoming events include:
November 21, 2008 – Go for Baroque: First Presbyterian Church of Boulder is hosting a concert to benefit Flatirons Habitat for Humanity. The program will feature church organist Dr. Martha Sandford-Heyns as well as selections for voice, harpsichord, and flute. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel.
February 21, 2009 – Holy Smokes: Flatirons Habitat for Humanity’s annual clergy cook-off returns as Clergy in our area square off at Broomfield United Methodist Church and put their culinary skills to the test. We look forward to sampling the delicacies of our returning champions as well as those of their first-time challengers! We encourage congregations to support their clergy by selling tickets to the event and by stuffing their pastors’ tip jars at the cook-off!
