Donate new construction materials in quantity and help us keep the cost of our affordable homes as low as possible. For information, please contact Bob Wettergren, Construction Manager at 303-447-3787 ext. 23 or by e-mail bwettergren@flatironshabitat.org.

Tools
We always have a need for hand tools in new or good condition, such as tape measures and hammers. Larger items, such as saws or tile cutters, may be used at the sites. Please call our Construction Supervisor, Bob Wettergren, at (303) 447-3787 ext. 23 to discuss your donation.

Vehicles
We’re always looking for large heavy-duty trucks for Thrift Store pick-ups and movement of construction materials. If you want to donate a vehicle, we use Habitat for Humanity’s “Cars For Homes” program. Click here for more information.

Building Materials
Flatirons Habitat for Humanity only accepts building materials approved by our construction department. Please email details of your suggested donation to our Construction Supervisor, Bob Wettergren at bwettergren@flatironshabitat.org or 303-447-3787 ext. 23. Materials are also welcome at our thrift store. Please call in advance at 303-404-2008 to ensure that they can use your donation.

Services
We welcome offers of pro-bono services in many areas, including architectural and graphic design, construction, legal, accounting, printing, mailing, and photography, to name a few. For more information about these opportunities, please contact Jan Hawley. If you are a skilled carpenter and would like to volunteer, please click here to learn more about our Crew Leader program.

Planned Gifts
What is the legacy you wish to leave to your family? How do you want to be remembered?

If the answer to one or both of these questions is “that you made a difference,” please consider leaving a legacy gift to Flatirons Habitat for Humanity to ensure that affordable housing will continue to be available to low income families in Boulder and Broomfield counties.

What is a legacy gift? It can be as simple as remembering FHfH in your will or designating FHfH as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or as complicated as establishing an annuity or trust.

We suggest that you discuss leaving a planned gift with your financial advisor as part of your overall estate planning in order to determine the vehicle that best fits your needs and goals for the future.

If you decide to include FHfH in your planning, please let us know and how you wish your funds to be used — for construction, for land purchases, or where most needed.

Please send a letter outlining your plans and wishes to Jan Hawley, CFRE, Development Director, Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, 2450 Frontier Avenue, Suite 109, Boulder, CO 80301 and she will follow up with you.

Thank you so much for considering a legacy gift to Flatirons Habitat for Humanity!
