Flatirons Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce our participation in National Women Build Week!
Habitat affiliates across the country will be hosting Women Build events in partnership with Lowe’s May 4 – 9. Flatirons Habitat for Humanity will be hosting 2 Women build days on our construction site and a how to clinic on how to use power tools and one of framing and roofing basics in partnership with our local Lowe’s store. Habitat Rocks the House at Boulder’s Dinner Theatre
What a great night it was for Flatirons Habitat for Humanity when they joined forces with Boulder’s Dinner Theatre for a fun fundraising evening. We almost filled the house and after a rollicking live auction and special appeal over $27,000 was raised to provide a simple decent place to live for homeowner partners who need a hand up, not a handout. Then everyone settled in to enjoy a fun and very professional production of “The Little Shop of Horrors.”

If you are interested in sponsorships, volunteering, Habitat homeownership, or just would like more information about affordable housing in Boulder this one hour informational tour is a great place to get started.
