What a great night it was for Flatirons Habitat for Humanity when they joined forces with Boulder’s Dinner Theatre for a fun fundraising evening. We almost filled the house and after a rollicking live auction and special appeal over $27,000 was raised to provide a simple decent place to live for homeowner partners who need a hand up, not a handout. Then everyone settled in to enjoy a fun and very professional production of “The Little Shop of Horrors.”
We’d like to recognize several people and businesses for their support:
Special thanks to:
- Bev Reimer, chair of the planning committee, who kept everyone on track and motivated — her enthusiasm made this event the huge success that it was
- Alan Boles, Jeanne Fetterman and Ester Matheson, planning committee members for all their support
- Bob Bundy, Bob Steinke, and Jim Fetterman, for the whimsical, magical playhouse their built for the live auction
- Dan Day for his masterful skills as our evening master of ceremonies
- Isabell Day for stepping in at the last minute to be our auction model
- Gary Corbett, auctioneer extraordinaire
- Don Reimer, for the excellent power point presentation shown during dinner
- Susie Watkins and the stellar staff and actors at Boulder's Dinner Theatre for all their help and a phenomenal performance
In addition, special thanks to our sponsors, who made this event the financial success it was – thanks for your investment in our affiliate!
