Bike and Build
Flatirons Habitat for Humanity thanks First Congregational Church of Boulder for hosting a team of Bike and Build cyclists on July 1, 2010. The team is traveling cross-country, raising funds to eliinate poverty housing, and helping to build Habitat homes along their route. They were treated to a delicious enchilada dinner and an overnight stay at the church. We appreciate the hospitality of this congregation.

Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity is a multi-year, multi-million dollar alliance that brings members of Thrivent Financial together with Lutheran congregations, other volunteers, Habitat affiliates and host communities to build simple, decent, affordable homes with partner families in need. The program is designed to help families achieve greater economic independence.  Lutheran congregations in our service area are raising funds and volunteering to build with us on our Northfield Village construction site in Boulder through this partnership.
