In September 2009, construction began on one of two 4-plexes in Northfield Village in North Boulder off of Jay Road and 47th St. These 3-bedroom units will incorporate energy, efficient and sustainable building methods including solar. Harmony Haven was built as part of a larger community of non-profits all building in the People’s Clinic neighborhood. In addition to Habitat’s nine units, all of which feature fairly extensive green-building measures, the neighborhood also contains senior co-housing and homes built by the Affordable Housing Alliance. Construction began in the summer of 2007 and was completed September 2009.
