Construction 

Come build with us! We build Wednesday through Saturday with varying schedules. We have new construction, critical home repair and home rehab projects throughout our service area. No need for prior construction experience - just a willing heart to support our mission of providing affordable housing.

Crew leader volunteers: If you would like to volunteer on our construction site at least once a month on Friday and/or Saturday, and are a natural leader and would like to receive training in all phases of construction please email volunteer@flatironshabitat.org

 

Note:​

​​

• Youth ages 16-17 must be accompanied by a registered parent/guardian while on the build site

• Due to safety concerns, youths younger than 16 are not allowed on our construction sites. 

• We cannot accept court-ordered volunteers at our construction sites. 

 

Family Services & Office Support

Flatirons Habitat has an amazing staff working toward our mission, but we your need help. Join us and put your administrative professional experience, language support and people skills to work while knowing your assistance helps deserving families in your community. 

 

Roles you can play could include: 

• Family Selection Committee member

• Office volunteer

ReStore

Come help at our thrift and home improvement center. We are a volunteer powered organization and we need you! 
 

Short-term volunteer opportunities

Volunteers at the ReStore help with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: 

• Accepting and sorting donations

• Sorting and displaying clothing

• Testing and cleaning electronics

• Assisting customers on the sales floor

• Riding with the ReStore truck to help pick up donations

Become a regular volunteer at the ReStore! 

​If you have four hours of free time or more per week, consider becoming a regular volunteer at the ReStore! We are seeking the following volunteer positions: 

• Merchandising

• Book stocker

• Clothing organizer

• Donation receiving

• Pricing housewares

• Furniture repair

• Small appliance tester

• Stock person

• Donation procurement
